PHOENIX COLLEGE STUDENTS CONDUCTING SURVEY ON HIM
EMPLOYMENT OUTLOOK
Second year Health Information Technology (HIT) degree students will be conducting an online survey with hospital Health Information Management (HIM) Directors statewide to ascertain the future growth and hiring projections for HIM and coding positions over the next 5 years.
Students will write an article on the survey findings for future publication in the E-News. We encourage all hospital HIM Directors to be on the lookout for this survey in their emails within the next week. Your input is important and will assist those who are seeking employment in HIM know where the greatest opportunities exist, as well as, provide essential information in planning for student enrollment, curriculum development, and job availability.
