The Arizona Health Information Management Association is an affiliate of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA). To be eligible for membership in AzHIMA, one must be a member of AHIMA (www.ahima.org/membership/).

Membership Types

• Active - Individuals interested in the AHIMA purpose and willing to abide by the Code of Ethics are eligible for active membership. Active Members in good standing shall be entitled to all membership privileges including the right to vote.
• Senior - In recognition of service to the profession, current AHIMA members 65 and over are eligible for this member type.
• Student - Students currently enrolled in an AHIMA-approved or CAHIM accredited educational program
